With a reputation for dressing the feet of some of the hottest celebrities and socialites across the world, Jimmy Choo has become a symbol of luxurious footwear, especially glamorous high heels. Since its launch in 1996, with a flagship store in Bond Street London, the iconic brand has come to include a wide selection of fashion items such as handbags and accessories.

ALL LIES IN THE PAST

It all began with Vogue accessories editor Tamara Mellon, and couture shoe designer Jimmy Choo joined together to create what is now the third most sought after brand in Britain (behind Jack Wills and Louis Vuitton). The company has expanded rapidly, with 115 stores spread across 32 countries and Tamara is flying solo she is keen to become a huge success over in China – now the country with the fastest growing luxury goods industry.

JIMMY CHOO STYLE

With simple rectangle shapes and classical go-with-everything colours like black, cream and red, Jimmy Choo designs are elegant yet understated. The Cassie clutch is one of our favourites because of its timeless shape that can be used over and over again. The added bonus being that the comfy shape gives extra protection to your evening essentials. The Pauline is another favourite, for an urban spin on your formal office bag.

PERFECT FOR

The woman that likes to play it safe. She sticks to black, and soft neutrals and if she knows something looks good on her, or is on sale, she’ll buy it in bulk. These bags are as unfussy and straightforward as the woman who wears them.
