Clutch bags are moving away from the traditional box-shaped clutches and satin evening bags to more quirky and original styles. Charlotte Olympia has really set the pace down for unique clutches and we just love her weird and wacky designs. So, we were delighted to see a new brand conquering the world of clutch bags and introducing us to some equally fabulous designs.
The label Shourouk was created by paris-based designer Shourouk Rhaiem in 2007 and first starting selling jewellery. Before starting her own brand, Shourouk worked for some of Europe’s best labels, including Chloé, Cavalli, and Galliano. Jean Paul Gaultier even commissioned the talented designer to create jewels for his Fall ’09 Couture extravaganza!
Shourouk has now moved on to other accessories such as scarves and bags and we are loving them! They are available from different retailers such as FarFetch, Net-a-Porter and StyleBop, but we have noticed each retailer stocks different designs so shop around before buying. Our personal favourite is the Shourouk Crystal Embellished PVC Clutch (below). This clutch really follows suit with the latest see-through accessories fashion trend and the embellished rainbow of clear and painted crystals adds a touch of special sparkle to any outfit.
