1. The 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli textured-leather tote is the choice of Designer/Boutique owner Donna Ida Thornton.
“I love olive green, it looks great with jeans and I always like a bit of gold hardware. This bag would be great with black, indigo or plum jeans for AW and for now try it with white or some of the soft sorbet pastels. It would be great with the Mother Looker Crop in Tangelo, one of my Summer favourites!”
2. The MICHAEL Michael Kors Berkley metallic woven canvas clutch is the choice of Stylist/Editor Amanda Start.
“I’m such a huge Michael Kors fan and his accessories always lift an outfit into luxe territory in an instant. I think metallics work equally well for day or night, especially in the form of this gorgeous clutch. Make it the main focus against a backdrop of low key day pieces or carry all your essentials in it for a glamorous night out!”
3. The Chloé Sally Swarovski crystal-embellished leather clutch was chosen by Hannah Eichler, Fashion Assistant at Look magazine.
“Super soft leather, Swarovski crystals and gold hardware – this clutch couldn’t be more A-list if it tried! I’ll be teaming it with pastel colours like mint, lemon and candy pink, as well as shimmery metallics to nail this season’s super feminine trend as seen at Louis Vuitton, Erdem and Diane Von Furstenberg. I’ll never look at another clutch bag again!”
4. The Chloé Paraty Small python and leather bag was chosen by fashion-lover/bag-addict Carla Bast.
“I love the lining, how it’s python paneled, the color! and the hardware”
5. The Stella McCartney Falabella small faux suede shoulder bag was chosen by Orlagh O’Reilly, creator of TheMiniPost.
“In lieu of the sun in the sky, this little beauty from
Stella will add some much needed sunshine to your day. Plus add some serious style credentials. It looks amazing on a simple palette of white or grey.
You can wear it as a clutch or cross body, which for me is ideal during the day
when out and about with TheMiniOne. Stella’s ‘Falabella’ bags are a modern
classic. J’adore! “
6. This Chloe ‘madeleine’ tote bag was chosen by model Imogen Leaver.
“I love this Chloe Tote bag, it’s very summery and would go great with any outfit! I always have loads with me when modelling round London so it would be a perfect size for fitting everything in too!”
7. The Stella McCartney Woven faux leather shoulder bag was chosen by handbag designer and blogger Samia Takia.
“It reminds me what my mother was wearing when I was a little girl and admiring her style…
The bag is just elegant, Chic, beautiful, the color is tasteful and fresh. You can wear it with a Jean or a dress.
I Just love it! and now I have to have it!”
8. The Celine tote bag was chosen by fashion blogger Ashley Guiel.
“This bag is perfect to wear from work to night as the color goes with mostly everything. You can pair it with an all black ensemble, or wear it with pop colors. I love how the black and white pairs with this Spring’s pastel trend, it takes the “sweetness” out of an all pastel look.
Depending on the outfit the bag can look both conservative or fun and trendy. Basically this bag is the perfect versatile accessory to own for Spring as it transitions easily into summer, and is perfect for traveling since it goes with any outfit. Most importantly the bag is timeless, well worth the investment as it will never go out of style. This is something you are likely to own forever.”
9. The Love Moschino Hoover Girl Shoulder Bag was chosen by Fashion & Lifestyle Blogger/Photographer Ashanti Jason.
“From the gorgeous baby pink to the illustrated fashionista carrying out a bit of housework in her fabulous home, this fun shoulder bag from Love Moschino is perfect for spring summer practical enough to hold my camera and cute enough to draw in lots of jealous stares”
10. This Cambridge Satchel Company 13 Inch Leather Satchel was chosen by Clare Potts, PR& Marketing Executive at MyBag.com.
“I’m really trying to brighten up my wardrobe for Summer and this little splash of yellow can transform the dullest of outfits!”
11. This Victoria Beckham Victoria Tote was chosen by Beauty, Fashion and Lifestyle Blogger Sabrina Babo.
“I love this bag it’s just perfect. I love the size and shape of the bag but my favourite thing is the colour! It is such a classic colour but would love even more amazing in the summer teamed with a tan. The pale gold hardware makes it extra special!”
12. This Mulberry Harriet patent tote was chosen by lifestyle blogger Lula Belle.
“I love classic bags, whether this be the colour or the shape, so for me the bag I currently adore is the Mulberry Harriet in midnight blue. It oozes 1950′s glamour.
I would wear this any time of day, at the office, for a girly lunch or for an evening supper. Another Mulberry classic to add to my list!”
The results and prize winner will be published early June. Good luck everyone!
