The best-selling Radley pocket bags (above) are now available in nine cute colours and we can’t wait to get our hands on the them!

The Radley Chiltern (above), is a large everyday tote bag and is now available in a series of summery colours such as peach, red, orange and yellow. Worn by Laura Bailey, the Chiltern tote is affordable and fun fashion. At just £129 these bold bags are sure to be a hit for SS13.

How big are they? 

The small Radley pocket bag is W20 x H21 x D2 cm, so ideal for those travelling light. The adjustable shoulder strap widens at the shoulder for a comfortable fit so whether you opt for the small, medium or large, you can rest assured you can carry the bag all day without it becoming uncomfortable. The medium Radley pocket bag is W22 x H27 x D2 cm, so slightly bigger than the small version and would comfortably fit a small notepad and other daily essentials. The large size has dimensions of W29 x H27 x D2 cm and is the most practical for a work bag. The slim shape of the bags mean they can be packed easily when travelling and are the ideal handbag for holidays as they are light-weight and can be worn across the body and over or under outer-wear so you can keep your belongings safe. What are they made of? 

The pocket bags are made from the finest leather which ensure they will stand the test of time. The cross-body bag’s main feature is it’s front pocket (hence the name.) Radley have said their inspiration for the first pocket bag came from the pockets in a pair of jeans. Looking closely at a pair of jeans and the Radley pocket bag, you can see the shape of the pocket on the bag echo the shape of front pockets on a pair of jeans. The pocket is ideal for travel documents and a passport when travelling or a diary, keys, oyster card or simply anything you want easy access to! There is a zip pocket on the reverse and a zip pocket inside so you can keep your treasures well organised.

What colours are available? 

The Radley pocket bags are currently available in nine colours: the three standard leather colours; tan, bitter chocolate and black, and the bright SS13 colours of pearl, grenadine, carrot, kelly green, tempest and blue. This is the first season that Radley have introduced bold colours to their range, and we think they are fab! The green, carrot and blue are great additions to a summer wardrobe and we believe they will be a huge hit!

Structured bags are big business this season! Material 

The Radley Selby Tote is made from soft, strong leather so you can ensure it will last the test of the time. However, be warned, it is easily scratched so be careful to keep it in its dust cover bag when at home and to be cautious when carrying it around.

Best colour to pick 

The handbag is available in tempest blue or brown and both colours are fab. We prefer the blue as this colour is set to be a huge trend next season and it adds a splash of colour to an outfit. However, if you will be using the tote as an office bag then the brown looks professional and smart.

BagServant’s thoughts

We just adore the Selby tote, so much so that we have already bought it! Made from beautiful soft leather and with strong handles, the bag is ideal for the working lady. But unlike many office bags the tote is still right on trend, colourful and fun. And at just £249 we think it’s a bargain for such a wardrobe staple.
