Design Your Own Handbag – Meet The Panelists

BagServant is delighted that we have now launched our Design Your Own Handbag Competition, giving you the chance to release your inner handbag designer and create your dream bag. The handbag design that receives the most votes will be hand-made by top designer Mel Boteri and delivered to your door.

So, who will be voting? You can share your design via Facebook and Twitter so your friends can get voting for their favourite design. Additionally, our team of fashion experts will also be choosing their favourite design.

Meet the Panelists… 

Isobel Kershaw, Head of Styling and Training for NHJ Style.

With over 20 years of experience in the fashion world, Isobel Kershaw can certainly be labeled as a Fashion Guru. With an Hons degree in Fashion and textiles, and her final collection sponsored by Jacques Azagury, she has an impressive CV and career path. From design assistant to Spanish designer Alfredo Caral in Madrid to Harrods Executive Trainee Scheme rising to executive management within Harrods and Product Director for Frank Usher, Isobel Kershaw is certainly a fashion-savvy queen!

Zoe Yates – Little Miss Fashion

Featured in titles such as Marie Claire and listed in the top 10 to follow for London Fashion Week by Fashion Telegraph, Zoe shares her passion for fashion blogging for Huffington Post UK and her own site LittleMissFashion.com.  When she’s not writing, Zoe can often be found boxing at her local gym, researching the latest trends or on the hunt for chocolate (her other love).  Zoe is also passionate about young and emerging designers often offering general business advice and where required assistance in digital marketing activities through websites and other online media.

Rachel Montague-Ebbs – LadyMPresents


With a passion for fashion, a craving for good shoes and love for travelling, a blog was born which rapidly turned into an editorial style online magazine with the aim to raise awareness of up and coming designers, fabulous boutiques and an insight into the world of fashion weeks and events. My favourite feeling is “when the lights go down on the catwalk and the music starts up, you can feel the buzz of anticipation”. Rachel is a regular contributor to BBC Radio Kent for fashion and lifestyle matters and judged at the 2012  and 2013 Alfa Romeo & St Andrews University Young Designer of the Year award. Rachel is also a blogger for the Huffington Post and knows everything there is to know about fashion!

Kal Di Paola – CEO/Founder of BuyMyWardrobe


BuyMyWardrobe is an online marketplace for pre-owned designer fashion. Kal has always had a love for fashion and it was this love that saw her set up her first business in 1997, her eponymous fashion label Kal Kaur Rai, worn by the likes of Victoria Beckham and Beyoncé and sold in over 140 boutiques worldwide. During this time she picked up the Young Achiever of the Year award at the Asian Business Awards in 2004, Entrepreneur of the Year at the Asia Business Awards in 2008, and was named as one to watch by The Observer Magazine in 2007.

Leroy Dawkins – Winning fashion writer and style editor of the Diary of A ClothesHorse

Leroy has been in the fashion industry for over 10 years. He started a blog 2.5 years ago. He is now an award winning style and features editor at large specialising in accessories, womenswear and menswear. Leroy contributes to publications around the world and does freelance PR and is also a celebrity stylist.

Sarah Walter – Founder of Style Passport

Sarah launched style-passport in March 2011 after 8 months of development and team build. The site brings together her experience of retail and fashion and combines with a passion for travel. Experience as a Director of Fashion Communications at popular high-street stores New Look and River Island and Accessories Editor for Vogue, Sarah certainly knows about the business side behind fashion and considers herself to be consider myself to be a passionate ‘creative starter finisher’.
