Founded by Fiona Kotur in 2004, KOTUR is about bridging the gap between modern technique and traditional craftsmanship. The KOTUR collections are comprised mainly of minaudieres and clutches, and are a popular favourite amongst celebrities and those of the fashion world.
The first collection in 2004- a kind of retro glamour combined with various exotic elements in a limited edition of brocade clutches- was picked up immediately by the world’s most prestigious retailers, Bergdorf Goodman and Scoop in New York, Browns in London, and Harvey Nichols in Hong Kong, and Fiona’s collections have continued to grow ever since.
Although famous for their chic and innovative clutches, KOTUR also offers larger bags like the classic Wallace and Mortimer which, thrillingly, have made appearances on favorite shows such as Gossip Girl and Lipstick Jungle, and have been carried by editors, including style doyen Andre Leon Talley, whose oversized custom Wallace accompanied him throughout New York Fashion Week.
KOTUR believe in offering bags in every collection in a wide range of prices, from around £150 to £1500, so there is a KOTUR handbag for every budget, style, taste and needs.
We have only recently discovered KOTUR bags, and we absolutely adore them! The KOTUR Glitter Globe Perspex Box Clutch, is our personal favourite but we can not wait to see what they have in store for us next season!
