Mulberry Alexa: Why You Should Invest In Pebbled Snake Print

The Mulberry Alexa has been on the wishlist of every A-lister and fashion slave since its fabulous launch in 2009, and this latest design has us all on tenterhooks. The Mulberry Pebbled Snake Print Alexa dabbles in the current animal print fad with its seductive texture and rich creamy colour, making it my favourite way to work the trend.

We Like the Mulberry Pebbled Snake Print Alexa Bag Because…

The Alexa is already a dream for any fashion conscious woman; combining the ever-popular satchel shape with a multitude of straps and slightly sloppy casual feel. It’s the snakeskin I love particularly in this exaggerated pebble texture. It feels so much more wearable (especially in this soft beige) to other snake-clad designs, and will definitely out-last the season.

Carry It When…

The versatile design works because its schoolboy look makes it practical and preppy enough for work, yet on-trend enough to parade around confidently with to any informal event. My Mulberry Alexa has been taken for afternoon tea, summer picnics and to London Fashion Week paired with my favourite chunky heeled boots.

You Can Fit In…

The Alexa is pretty handy, managing to comfortably hold a slim little Macbook along with dry shampoo and an electrifying pink lipstick (my three everyday essentials). The roomy size combined with the easy usage is one of my favourite things about it.

Perfect For…

Anyone looking for a bag that combines the weekday office use and laid-back weekends. The slouchy feel makes it great for girls that prefer their skinny jeans to tea dresses, and their Chelsea boots to Louboutins.

Worth It?

The Mulberry Pebbled Snake Print Alexa bag is a handbag icon in its own right, there’s no denying it. At £1,125 it’s a small investment rather than a quick impulse buy. Every girl needs an Alexa as part of her collection and I for one would rather splash out on an unusual yet wearable design like this one, knowing that not every girl scouring Selfridges for a new dress will be wearing one.
