British actress Rosamund Pike has teamed up with chic brand L.K Bennett to design the Rosamund Bag Collection. The 34-year-old Pride and Prejudice star, who is also the current face of the brand, has created beautiful classic and polished leather handbags that are due to hit shops this week.
There are three styles to choose from; Rosie, Rosamund and Rosa and are said to have been inspired by Julie Christie in the opening scene of Darling and other classic British films. The box totes are available in six colours and prices start from £350 for the small Rosie bag, graduating to £425 for the Rosa and £425 for the Rosamund.
Rosamund is happy to say she was very hand-ons with the creative process from the initial sketching to designing the fine details of the bags and says she wanted the inside of the bags to look as fabulous as the outside. A favourite brand of the Duchess of Cambridge, the company’s CEO Didier Drouet believes Pike’s collection “is destined to be a huge success.”
The collection will be available from July 17 online and in key U.K. locations as well as in the U.S, Middle East, France, Spain and Holland.
