“This beautiful little piece embodies effortless femininity, is charmed with Parisian humour and gives the finished ensemble heart and soul. It’s the perfect little party companion, a conversational starter and adds a little je ne sais quoi to an otherwise rather conventional evening dress.”

2. The Jason Wu Karlie crystal and stone-embellished satin box clutch is the choice of Fashion/Beauty/Travel Magazine Editor Laura Pearson-Smith. (Bag Personality Type: Big Bag Lover)

“Jason Wu Karlie Crystal & Stone-Embellished Satin Box Clutch, £1235 from Net-a-Porter.Reason: I have chosen a sleek-lined clutch to match the cut of the dress. The dress colour is quite muted; so I couldn’t help myself adding a pop of colour.”

3. The Ted Baker Glinor crystal studded clutch, Pink is the choice of Head Editor Camilla. (Bag Personality Type: Confident Classique)

“I chose the lovely, yet chic ‘Ted Baker’ London Glinor crystal studded clutch to go with the very elegant and classic purple dress that Taylor Swift wore at the Golden Globes. The light pink shade of the bag and the cute bow detail lighten up the dress and gives ‘Taylor Swift’ a more youthful and playful sparkle.”

4. The Charlotte Olympia Pandora Perspex clutch is the choice of Blogger Colour Me Fabulous. (Bag Personality Type: Boardroom Perfectionist)

“I love the wine colour, which was one of the colours trending on the 2013 golden globes red carpet. The colour of the bag will set off Taylor’s dress quite nicely.Perspex is trending as well so this clutch is ticking a lot of boxes. My favourite part is the crystal embellished spider clasp.”

5. The Christian Louboutin Sweet Charity Studded Leather Clutch is the choice of Editor at Large Leroy Dawkins. (Bag Personality Type: Glamourpuss)

“It’s ultra versatile can be worn as a crossover and a clutch and just adds an edge to day outfit, cocktail dress or gown. Must have investment piece.”

6. The Jimmy Choo Claire silver-tone brass and crystal clutch is the choice of Blogger Manuela Calascibetta. (Bag Personality Type: Confident Classique)

“I felt that this dress was a very classic cut, extremely plain, and was in severe need of a colour pop or some jewellery, as all Taylor Swift was wearing other than the dress was a pair of earrings. The size also needed to be small for me, first of all because of the occasion, and also because it really needed to recall a piece of jewellery. My favourite option is the Jimmy Choo.”

7. The Kotur Glitter Globe Perspex box clutch is the choice of Blogger Toni Kent. (Bag Personality Type: Confident Classique)

“With Taylor wearing a dress that screams “cast me in the next Dior ad immediately!” I had to choose this gorgeous Kotur clutch. The clear Perspex outer enclosing a shimmering gold pouch gives more than a nod to fine fragrance bottles and delivers masses of red carpet style. In fact, this Valentine’s Day, forget perfume – I want this!”

8. The Charlotte Olympia Pandora perspex box clutch is the choice of Editor in Chief Julie Zerbo. (Bag Personality Type: Boardroom Perfectionist crossed with Confident Classique)

“To go with Taylor’s Donna Karan Atelier dress, Charlotte Olympia’s Pandora perspex box clutch is PERFECT! In green, it is a bit of a fun compliment to this sophisticated dress and the Golden Globes is a perfect platform to support emerging design brands.”
