Who? What? Where? When?
Founded in 1976, the German brand first started designing and crafting luxury leather goods and footwear. Inspired by traditional craftsmanship but with innovative designs, the MCM brand concept is to create luxury goods for inspiring and adventurous voyagers. This idea is reflected in the name MCM, as it reflects the roman numerals 1900, which symbolised the the concept of new travel at the turn of the 20th century – (not just pretty bags, but clever minds too!)
The bags have since become increasing popular with celebrities and royals. The list is endless, but style goddess Dita Von Teese, trendy Selena Gomez and glamourpuss Kelly Rowland, are just a few of the stars spotted sporting an MCM handbag on their travels.
